some people may say that students who are taking up nursing is looking for greener pasteur. But there's more to NURSING than seeking greener pasteur. At first I really don't like NURSING, my father encourage me to take up nursing. when my mother got really sick by the time i graduated high school, she got bed ridden, we have to take care of her, with that kind of incident, it had enlighten me somehow that maybe nursing isn't thst bad after all. practically speaking at first the only reason i have for taking up nursing is because of my father's will that i would take up nursing and for me to easily go abroad. But now i learned to love nursing, i want to finish this course because I want to help friends,family, and other people who are in need. knowing now that being a nurse is not caring for somebody spiritually and emotionally. taking up nursing isnt that easy, you have to undergo very hard subjects and very strict clinical instructors but then again you are enjoying it at the same time. nursing can be very fulfilling it can change lives in its own special way, you may not notice it gradually but there is change slowly occuring. being a nurse someday is such a great achievement but is also a great disappointment when you can't pass the board exam.WHY NURSING? because its a fulfilling profession and you can extend sincerest help to friends, family, relatives and patients.
